The founder
Josh Anderson
Josh has spent his career in operations. That includes nearly two decades at The Home Depot, where he rose from associate to Manager on Duty, ran store operations, and trained associates on equipment and safety across lumber, doors, plumbing, flooring, and more.
Since 2023 he has managed fire door, fire damper, and firestop inspection and repair in healthcare facilities across 15 states, at sites ranging from a single building to campuses with 700 doors. He has seen what goes wrong when records are scattered, door numbers change every year, and repairs never get verified.
Southern Standard is his answer: do the work right, stay accountable, and give every door a record that lasts.

Documented
Every door, every deficiency, every repair, photographed and on record. If it isn't documented, it didn't happen.
Finished
Repairs aren't done until they're re-inspected and verified. Open deficiencies don't quietly carry over to next year.
